Meet the Team

George Waidelich is President of Marina Brokerage Advisors, where he leads the firm’s investment sales and capital markets advisory practice focused exclusively on marina and waterfront assets throughout the United States.

George has advised private owners, family offices, private equity firms, and institutional investors on more than $700 million of investment sales, debt placement, and equity financing transactions. His experience spans transaction execution, institutional marketing, capital structuring, and strategic advisory, with a particular focus on complex, operationally intensive real estate assets.

Prior to founding Marina Brokerage Advisors, George served as Head of Capital Markets at Park Brokerage & Commercial Real Estate, where he built the firm’s specialty-use investment sales platform and led its capital markets practice. He previously worked at Greysteel, where he established the firm’s niche asset class platform.

George began his career with Bank OZK’s Asset Management group, where he managed a commercial real estate loan portfolio exceeding $500 million across the hospitality, office, industrial, and retail sectors.

George graduated Magna Cum Laude from Texas Christian University with a B.B.A. in Finance and Real Estate. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with family and friends, fishing, wake surfing, and supporting TCU Football.

Kyle Peterson is Vice President of Marina Brokerage Advisors, where he handles the acquisition and disposition of marina assets nationwide. Before entering brokerage, he worked as a contractor installing and maintaining custom boat lifts. This hands-on experience provides him with an understanding of marina infrastructure, a perspective he leverages to maximize value for his clients.

He holds a degree in Finance and Economics and has negotiated more than $250 million in transactions. Outside of work, Kyle is on the water with friends and family, an extension of the lifelong passion for boating that brought him into the business.

Growing up on the lakes of Minnesota and then trading that for the beaches of Santa Monica, it’s safe to say water has always been part of the picture. Eventually family and friends brought her to Phoenix, where she now lives with her husband, Nick, and their three boys, though she always makes it back to the lake every summer.

Real estate runs in the family, so when the opportunity at Marina Brokerage Advisors came along, it felt like a natural next step that brought together everything she knows and loves. She genuinely enjoys the client side of this work, getting to know marina owners and being part of what’s often a really significant moment for them.
